What you are watching is the real pipeline, replayed in the browser. When a client adds, edits, or deletes a row in the connected Notion database, Notion notifies KnotCMS. KnotCMS waits a few seconds for the edits to settle, then reconciles the Framer CMS collection so it matches Notion: new rows are created, changed rows updated, deleted rows removed. With auto-publish on, the site is published as soon as the collection is current. With it off, synced items wait in Framer CMS as drafts until you publish. Automatic sync and auto-publish are Pro features; on the free plan you run each sync yourself with Sync now.
